Reading Comprehension: If your child aims for higher education but is struggling with understanding textbooks, he or she may need reading strategies that will empower him or her to access difficult text.
We use the student’s own textbooks as well as prepared passages, some from standardized tests, to assist your teenager so he or she can learn how to deal with rigorous text, develop a greater depth of knowledge and feel more confident.
Standardized Tests: Personalized learning provides students with techniques they need to approach the all-important standardized reading and writing tests.
Students can learn to improve their test-taking skills while also improving classroom performance.
Writing: Many students find writing to be a daunting task. If your child is having difficulty taking notes, beginning an assignment, formulating ideas, and/or adding computerized visuals, we can help.
We can also explore specialized writing for higher education including applications to college, law school or medical school; and writing for film, television, sports, fashion, or careers of the future.
Stress: Even students in advanced classes can improve their reading and writing skills to feel less stressed and to improve in their coursework.
